How is everyone? An big plans for the day? How's the weather where you live?

It's simply gorgeous here. I managed to get myself out on the deck with a cup of coffee and the laptop. I'm so sore I may never leave this spot. Looks like I had the crud beat out of me on my sides where the crutches are.

I went to the movies yesterday with a couple friends and saw Going the Distance. It is hilarious but no where near appropriate for younger people. If you've ever been through a long distance relationship, you will see yourself in it. Sadly I still see my marriage now in it;)

Today I'm parking myself in front of the man tv and watching college football:woohoo: I have semi healthy junk food ready and going to just hang out today.

Anyways hello and hope everyone is well this pretty Saturday.:flower3:

Hi Sweetie!!
I totally missed...what happened to you??? You take care of yourself and enjoy your day of TV and snacks!!!

We are in for a beautiful couple of days here!! My husband works all weekend. Its back to school season so we are used to it.

Have a great weekend!!:goodvibes

Hey Lisa!! I haven't seen you in forever! How's everyone doing?

I broke my ankle several weeks ago well okay it's been a couple months but because of the insurance issues, it wasn't taken care of until this week. Naturally it's my driving foot and my husband is gone. He told me no crutching under the influence;)

Is your son ready for school? Gosh all these babies growing up makes me feel so old! So nice to hear from you though.

Good morning from another Army wife!

I hope that you are enjoying your Saturday (bruises/crutches and all)... Here at Campbell it has finally cooled down, and we are getting ready for the weekly care package post office run.

As you can see by my ticker we are planning an R&R trip so I have been thinking too about the way our relationship is nontraditional. I am trying to put together a playlist to send him for plane ride over, any suggestions?

We miss Campbell so badly! We were there almost 10 years and all my husband's deployments were from there. We just left there last year and it's been a hard transition for my husband from soldier on the go to semi soldier at a desk. Not a pretty sight;)

Some of our favorite songs are country songs but here you go:

Bring it on home--Little Big Town
When Someone Loves You--Alan Jackson
Did I Shave My Legs for this--Deana Carter (private joke)
Ticks--Brad Paisely (again private joke)
Free--Zach Brown Band
Here Without You--3 Doors Down (one of my husband's favorites)
Need You Now--Lady Antebellum
Broken--Seether

I'll keep thinking and email my husband for his suggetions. Good luck with your deployment? What BDE is your husband in? We spent our entire time with 3BDE Rakkasan baby!

He is with 5th BDE right now. He is a former Kiowa guy who became an Apache guy who is now flying a desk for a Blackhawk unit! He is having some identity issues...

We finally are back here (PCSed 5 times in 7 years) and hope to stay for awhile.

I appreciate your thoughts. So far I have:
Right Here Waiting- Richard Marx (I am an 80s freak!)
Home- Blake Shelton
Almost Paradise- Ann Wilson (Another 80s throwback)
Run- George Strait

Of course, we have Lady A as our theme song for this deployment- but I switched from Need You Now to When You Got a Good Thing at the 6 month mark...

BTW, Here Without You was our theme song for the first deployment!

Hi Tina! Hope that ankle heals quickly now! Somehow I also missed that! I'm enjoying my am coffee now, too. At last the heat and humidity have left here so I am looking forward to a relaxing cool weekend!
