is there any good-good disney world map (with places discriptions) somewhere in the forum?

There's a Diser here that has the best maps, the actual park maps on his site. The guy's name is WILLCAD. I'm not computer savvy enough to tell ya how to track him down, but for the trouble he's really worth it. He's got the greatest photos and all. Good Luck!

I subscribed to the thread when I saw the detailed maps in the link so that I could get back to them later.

Does anyone draw their own? Or use old maps? The ones in the late 1980s were better--they had a detailed map of each land (or in Epcot each pavillion) showing exactly where every shop, bathroom, public phone, etc. was located. I miss those maps.
