Good Ice Cream place..

We will be there the end of October and staying at BCV. And since Beaches and Cream will be closed is there any other place that have great sundaes?

Ample Hills on the Boardwalk is excellent ice cream. Much better quality than the ice cream from Beaches and Cream.

For ice cream, people also like the Fountain at the Dolphin, and the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. But I haven't paid attention to whether they have good sundaes.

In the French Pavillion at Epcot, another good place for ice cream is L'Artisan des Glaces.

EDIT.... I just noticed you asked about sundaes. They do have excellent scoops of ice cream though. LOL

My true love for sundaes is Ghiradelli at Disney Springs. oh my goodness, absolute heaven.

Ample Hills, hands down. I’ll wander over there from Epcot in multiple days on my upcoming trip.

I love Ample Hills product but dread going there because I find the CMs worthless.

Ample Hills and a stroll back to BCV is just about perfect. The Fountain if you want to sit down and enjoy your ice cream.

The Fountaiin has creative sundaes but I’m not sure which brand of ice cream they use.

Ample Hills is delish, but its more artisan-style ice cream with a focus on the unique flavors. DH and I split a flight which came with six scoops so we could try the different flavors. They do offer a sundae, but its not their main focus.

The Fountain or Ghiradelli would have more traditional sundaes, on par with Beaches & Cream.

Another vote for Ample Hills - super delicious! Word to the wise - if you decide to get a sundae, get it on the butter cake, and SHARE! It is giant

This is why I love these boards. I have never before heard of "Ample Hills". We have made over 12 trips and I have been on these boards for ~15 years. I love when I discover something new. Will add this to the list for the next trip in October.

Another vote for Vivoli il Gelato at Disney Springs.
I'm not a chocoholic so can't speak much about Ghiradelli's versions but the other members of my traveling party seem to always enjoy the goodies from there.

If you like caramel, Ghirardelli's has a salted caramel sundae that has caramel and hot fudge. Deliciously sinful! It's a must stop on every trip.
