Good hotel to book midway from Orlando to DFW

Hello all,
We are going to see my daughter in Garland TX after we spend some days in our other home in AKV. Does anybody know of a good, safe hotel to stop by to spend the night midway there?
We have never travelled that route before,

In a few days we will be going the opposit way - Garlnd to WDW. Wish I could help but we will be driving straight through. May be we will see you on the road. Have a safe trip.

I would also like advise on this as we'll be driving from Dallas area to Orlando. Since we have a little one we'll need to break up the trip. We have drove without stopping before with our older kid, but not with our youngest he hates the car seat for long periods of time. Also the last few times we drove without stopping made us exhausted.
