Good hotel near Orlando airport?

We are flying into OIA and then will be traveling about 2 hours (NW) to visit relatives. I'd like to find a good, safe place to stay on our arrival day and then we could rent a car and drive in the morning. Ideas for places that aren't too expensive?

There are tons of hotels near MCO. My best experience is to go to the Negotiator site, place a bid on a 3-4* hotel in the MCO region. You can get them for about $50-$70 for 1 night.
