Good horse magazine?

I think I'm going to get my SIL a subscription to a horse magazine for her birthday. She (and my husband) rode when they were younger and she is just getting back into it. She is 24 and rides a couple of times a week. She rides English and is working on her jumping. Ultimately she would love to live on large piece of land and have a few horses of her own at home.

Any suggestions?

Hands down "Practical Horseman". If she rides English (like me) she will adore the jumping clinic with THE KING himself, George Morris.

They are so many I personally like Equus and Horse Illustrated I also started a thread on the community board "Horse Owners A place for us on the Dis"

Another nice one is Equine Journal, It has normal horse information but then it also has a section for breeds and areas.. so you can always find out whats going on in the breeds or near you...

Equine journal is $14.97 for a year subscription and its usually about 3/4 of an inch thick!! alot of cool information!
