we just got an email from Cablevision . . . they are letting us watch any on demand movie free of charge today.

They do still sell "rabbit ears" because now if you do not have cable your TV won't work without an external antenna. Our cable company got rid of some of our channels, and if we wanted to keep them we had to go get a box and convert to digital cable. So, we got a box and it was a huge pain in the, um, neck. BUT we only got one box free of charge.

So now one of our TVs has digital cable, one has plain cable (with fewer channels) and the one in DS's room doesn't work for TV at all - he uses it for the Game Cube or to watch videos. (Yes, videos. It has a VCR built in.)

well, if I had a few drinks, I guess I would spill . . .

as for pictures - I cannot for the life of me figure out how to insert a picture . . . you would think I could figure it out . . . I was always so good at inserting objects into the right holes during those tests we had to take in school.
