I'll join the "great guy, great neighborhood" chorus too.

But wow, the bad guy has FORTY previous arrests?!

That averages out to one every three months!! People like that just need to be removed from society! Look what nearly happened to that poor girl because this guy was walking around free. I'm sure, as a pp mentioned, that she is very shaken by what happened and what nearly happened. That's my worst fear, I think rape would be worse than being murdered.

40 arrests? It is stuff like this that makes me wish he would never be let out into society again, ever. In fact, I would be for death penalty for someone like him.

You try and rape a kid, you get killed.

As it stands he is going to be let back out to rape again.
