Good food... good value?

Things have changed for our trip next year and it appears that we will not be doing the dining plan as we had planned. I have started a diet and am now eating less then I used to, my grandmother is a light eater, and over all it just does not seem to be the value it once did. So, I need to ask some new questions and I really hope some one will be able to help.

1) For good food, but a good value what are some of your all time favorites CS and TS?

2) How are lunch portions compaired to dinner portions at TS?

We do wish to do a TS meal every day with a CS as our other meal (breakfast in the room).
 
Not directly on point of your questions but in the general area of economic WDW dining, I'd recommend the Disney Dining Experience if someone in your party has an AP. The discount applies to a significant number of the TS restaurants at the parks and resorts. See the link to allears.net for more info:
