Anybody have a good family bag, I have seen the baggalini's that everyone raves about on the DIS, but I think it would be to small for a family type bag. Unless I am missing a bigger one that they carry and don't see it. My two DS are 10 and 5 and my DD will be 19 months when we go, any good suggestions or better yet pictures too. We leave in 5 weeks and I would love to order something by the end of next week. Thank you for y our help:goodvibes

I just got the Overland Equipment Davis backpack from Sierra Trading post. It is a small packpack - but might hold all you need. There are pics and a link in the long "post pics of the bag you carry into the park" thread - look on page 52!

I use a plain old backpack. I bought an Eastbay at a consignment store for $6. It has really supportive straps and seems constructed well. Lots of pockets for camera and stuff.

We're a family of six so I understand about needing the room. It's worth the hassle getting on and off rides (which really isn't much) to have what we need with us and not traipsing back to a locker. JMO. This year my oldest three are getting small bags to carry their autograph books and sharpies in.

What all do you want to put in the bag.Your 10 is old enough to have his own bag

I agree your 10 yr old is old enough to carry their own. My kids have always had a fanny pack on them since about age 4-5. This way they have their own handy wipes, a little candy or snack, when they were about 7-8 they would take their own disposable camera. I'm a big believer in the fp, while not attractive they certainly are handy for kids and leave their hands free.

I'm not really worried about my 10 yr. old, but the other two, especially the baby, diapers, wipes, extra pair of clothes, extra shirt for my DS 4 in case he spills something which always happens when I don't have an extra shirt, sippy cup, lanyard for my 4 year old ( I hear they get heavy to wear all day), sunscreen or course for all of us, money, camera, if it is going to rain ponchos and I'm sure I am forgetting something else. You really do need to bring a good supply of things for a 19 month old and a 4 year old.

are you taking a stroller? I am and Ill use a small bag to go on rides with(money and camera, tix in it) but leave diapers, water and snacks in a small bag in stroller.
