Good DSi case for a 6 year old

Budget related because if I get a good case it will protect it and not have any affect on my budget to repair. My 6 year old son is getting a DSi for Christmas, got it at the DS Lite price from Dell a while back thanks to the budget board Now I need to know what is the best, protective case that can stay on the DSi and it be played. I'm thinking Nerf, but want opinions.

SWEAR by our nerf cases!!! Ours have had them on their DS Lites now for almost a year and the cases are beat but those DS's have been dropped, kicked, and played REAL hard and they are in great condition. The cases are broken at the hinges and beat to heck, but I would much rather that than imagining what would have happened to the DS's otherwise!

We bought a DSi for dh over the summer and even he requested the nerf case. He likes how it feels a little more substantial and doesn't make his fingers cramp while he's holding and playing it.

I second the Nerf case-we've probably dropped ours about a million times and it was fine. I don't think you'll find a "safer" case than that.

Another vote for the Nerf case. Saved DD6's DS Lite many times.
