Good Disney Store Experience

I had a very good experience at the Disney Store today. I visited the one at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, NY(Long Island). Okay very crowded today with everything in store 20% off. We buy my GF's daughter a princess back pack with matching lung bag and thermos. We get her son a stuffed Woody Doll. As we the CM rings up out purchases he realizes we didnt get the whole 20% discount. He voids and rings again I mention that I am a DVC member ans show my card an dhe say I can get anothe r10% off, now he has problems giving me the 10%, he asks for an associate CMs help but still has a problem, and he has to coid it out again. The manager then comes over and they cannot add the discount a third time and they have to void out the total again. Finallythe manager manually enters the discount using a calculator and I am able to pay for my purchases, the manager thanked me for waiting and the CM said "thanx for being a good sport" I didnt mind, they handeled it well amongst all the craziiness in the store.

I'm glad they continued trying to get the discounts right, even though te computerized cash register wasn't letting it work in your favor. The system we use in our store has to be toyed with at times also. The customer should always get the best deal available, especially in the current economic climate- you don't want to send your customer elsewhere.
