We have counter services for all parks except for this one. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Oh gosh, I think that MGM is truly lacking in the CS places that are offered.

You have ABC Commissary (indoors) - burgers, sandwiches.
Toluca Turkey Legs/The Flatbread Grill (which doesn't have flatbread :confused3 ) and some other burger joint by TOT and RNR - but it's outdoor seating and a bit crowded at times.
Backlot Express

I know there is one more.

Check out menus at www.wdwig.com

Good luck!

We always got to Backlot Express for MGM CS. We've tried the ABC Commissary and did not like it at all.

I would probably just eat a CS at something that is close to where you are at - I don't feel any of them are worth a trek across the park for. However, if you are close by - try the Backlot Express. They have airconditioning and good cheeseburgers!

That would be Rosie's All American and we eat there for lunch every time we are at MGM! It has truly HUGE veggie burgers (and regular burgers of course)! Yes, the seating is outside, but we like to people watch, so we don't mind. Besides, you get to listen to all the poor souls on TOT scream as they drop!

PS. Just remember to ride TOT before you eat!

IMO, the one CS that has pretty good food is Starring Rolls. Limited menu, but very tasty. :thumbsup2
I only wish their seating area was larger :sad2: (and cooler  ).

My two favorites are Backlot Express and Pizza Planet. Both are air conditioned and food portions are pretty decent. Of course, Pizza Planet is usually much busier of the two.

Ugh. Stay away from the places over by tower of terror. Long lines, very crowded, and I didn't care for the selections either!

I would recomend the ABS Comisary (The Cuban sandwich was excellent) and the Backlot express next to the Star Tours thing. As someone said above, both are air conditioned and I was able to easily find a place to sit at both.

We dont like any of the CS places in MGM but there is a hot dog stand close to TOT that is very good...if we are hungry we eat there but if we can wait a bit we take the boat to Epcot and eat there

I really like the commisary. I had a tabbouleh wrap on Friday, but I usually get the vegetable noodle stir fry. They have your burgers and chicken fingers too ;)

We like Flatbread Grill. Great salad (I think it's a greek salad :))

Do yourself a favor and park at the Marketplace at DTD and swing into Earl of Sandwich for your lunch, then hit MGM. If I had to go CS at MGM, though, it would have to be Backlot and then over to Starring Rolls for the delicious parfait.

I really like Backlot Express. I think it's a hidden gem. The food is your average theme park (burgers, fingers) but it is out of the way and there is a HUGE indoor seating area that I have never seen even remotely crowded (now July might be a different story)
