We will be meeting some relatives at Downtown Disney and will be looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. I'd prefer counter service over a sit down meal. What is available and what would you recommend? It will be the Wednesday evening before President's Day, so I am hoping it is not too crowded.

Any suggestions ????

Earl of Sandwich, hands down.

The food is delicious, and the cost is reasonable.

It begins and ends with Earl of Sandwich. ;)

It's great - relatively inexpensive ($5.95 sandwiches and salads), and it's VERY good.

It will be crowded, but the lines moves very quickly.

The Fish & Chips shop on the Marketplace edge of Pleasure Island was very good too (if you like Fish & Chips).

I tried Wolfgang Puck Express a couple years ago before it was recently renovated, and didn't care for it. But it might be better now.

Not too much else is available for counter service unless you count Wetzels Pretzels and McDonalds.

I'm a fan of Wolfgang Puck Express. WPE is kind of in between CS and TS, but is priced as a CS (even under DDP).

Yup, Earl of Sandwich is our must-do CS at DTD. Yum!! Wolfgang Puck Express is also very good (a little higher prices, though).

I've moved this thread to the Restaurants board. :)

I'll echo Earl of Sandwich. Wolfgang Puck Express is also a great CS location.

My vote goes to Wolfgang Puck's Express. We go there several times every trip! The food is very good and brought out to you, like a TS, while you pay CS!
Earl of Sandwich is quite nice, but gets too crowded for my likeing later in the day.

I am very into WP Express. It is upscale counter service with excellent food.

In fairness, I have not yet had the Earl of Sandwich which gets very good reviews.

I didn't try Wolfgang Puck's but the sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich are so good and very reasonablly priced.

We haven't eaten at WPE yet, but we do love Earl of Sandwich. It is a yummy meal and reasonable priced!

My must do CS for the past two trips has been WPE however I also tried Earl of Sandwich last time and will be returning to both this June when we go down.
