Good Counter Service places for yummy salads...

Can anyone recommend good yummy salads from counter service places? I will be going in June with the ddp but have a feeling with the heat, I'm not going to want fried foods and fries all the time along with all my TS food. I love salads but don't want just a small side salad, I'm looking for a full size salad. Any suggestions?

Cosmic Rays in MK and the food court in the Land Pavillion at EPCOT are two that I"ve tried.

I love the Garden Galley Salad at Columbia Harbour House in the MK.

I order a lot of caesar salads and I have never had a bad one at any CS place in WDW. Great salads at WPE in DTD, we had a sliced beef salad that was great.

Tuna(tuna steak rare) over mixed greens....(sunshine seasons.....)

I love the Garden Galley Salad at Columbia Harbour House in the MK.

My DW says: "ditto"
This salad has mixed greens with chicken, pecans, pineapple and feta cheese.

She says that, the chicken salad at Flame Tree is not quite as good as the CHH one, but, also good and made with shredded rotisserie chicken.

I used to really like the vegetarian version of Pecos Bill's salad. But, they replaced the cheese chunks with a small amount of shredded cheese so that it no longer contains much protein. If you get it with the chicken though, I assume this isn't a problem.

Pecos Bills has a good one and it's big. You can make a meal out of it.

The Beach Club Marketplace will make you a salad to order. If you're avoiding the heat and want to resort hop over there and have them make you one. Save room for the gelato too.

has an antipasto salad with various meats and parmesan cheese. It's sufficient enough of a meal for me and relatively light with the Italian dressing. I understand it can also be ordered without meat.

OMG......the WPE beef salad was soooooo good (i was going to forego our remaining TS for it, but DH conviced me to just go back every day for lunch).

Thanks everyone, those sound like great suggestions! I love chicken caesars and then I love salads with chicken and then chunks of fruit (ie. apple, pineapple, etc).

I can't wait to try a few of these!

Here's a few of my faves that I didn't see already mentioned:

Greek salad at Studio Catering Company (Studios) -- They've changed it up a bit. It now has a feta/kalamata vinaigrette on top. It's very tasty!

Goat cheese and beet salad at Sunshine Seasons (Epcot) -- What's better than goat cheese and golden beets? 'Nuff said!

Southwest salad at Backlot Express (Studios) -- This is a fairly new addition to their menu. It featured corn & black bean salsa and fried plantains. I thought it was a nice change from the ubiquitous chicken caesar or Asian chicken salads.

The chicken ceasar salads seem to be consistant - and good - throughout the entire property.

Unfortunately, the last time I was there, in December, that one was gone! Bummer because I always used to order it. I so wish they'd bring it back.

The Greek salad from Toy Story Pizza Planet in MGM was pretty good!

My dh & I like the salad from the Sunshine Food Court in The Land (OK we liked it better before they remodeled it).

We also like the taco salads from the Cantina (?) in Mexico but that is being redone now so hopefully they will still have the same yummy salad.

We also like the salad from Pizzafari & from the seasonal place in the MK-I forget it's name something like El Pirate Perico??? But it's in Adventureland & if you walk thru Peco's Bills to Adventureland you'd get there.

My mouth is watering thinking of yummy Disney food.

My DH and I love salads at WDW. For some reason we eat more salads while there than when we are at home. I have two that I love.
