Hi Gang

Just wondering when the codes come out is it generally a good chance that you'll get a discounted room or is it a frenzy where everyone is trying to get the discount and a lot of people get dissapointed.

Just curious,
Andy

It's a frenzy, lol, but a manageable one, and it's been my experience that most dates within the period are available at least for the first day or two.

with the last code that came out I called within the first few hours and could not get it for the resort we wanted POR, but could get it for the Poly..so not always available early...IF codes do come out you should have some back-up resorts planned and have in your mind what you would be willing to pay for them....

We have always booked packages(7/4,7/5), so we haven't used an ap code before. Which level of resorts(value, mod, deluxe) seem to be the most difficult to get? We are staying at the Poly, so I'm curious how fast the deluxe rooms go. :)

You can always keep calling, people change as things open up. I got in late on the codes last year and we couldn't make up our mind, but at one point had AKL and Coronado Springs booked for our dates, I called back at one point and WL was open, but with our budget we ended up staying at POP for the low rate. It seemed every time I called (man I am obsessed: ) that something new opened up. People switch around daily. Keep calling if you don't get what you want, even several times a day.
