good buddy lost everything to "You Know Who"

I tried to warn my buddy against this player... but he really wanted stitch hat and decided to trade with him..my buddy lost everything.

So here is just a warning to the people who might read this.. "He's back.. and back to old tricks."

I took some screen shots.. but I don't know how to post them.

The really "gutsy" thing this player did... after he spam for the stitch hat.. he had the nerve to show up in my room again later wearing the hat!!

This is also a good time to remind everybody to beware of not only people on VMK, but possiblily traders who might use this board.

Be cautious if it seems to good to be true. Also, be cautious if somebody is offering the unbelievable and has a very low number of posts.

I found him and stopped him from conning someone else. He told the owner no leader LOL.. I reported him and his donkey. I am not sure if VMK got him or he ran from me but at least I saved that one kids stitch hat

I do not recommend anyone else follow him. Harrassing a player is against the vmk values.

I just HAPPEN to find myself in the same room as him and I just HAPPEN to mention he is a scammer... oopsie

Just so everyone knows here is how he works so you can avoid it easily

He is never going to bother with anything less than a sparrow offer, and usually is really after stitch offers

he will try to find a room without to many witnesses, and loves rooms titled "stitch offer".

he brings another character with him

he is only after multi window trades and will refuse to use a leader (THIS IS KEY!)

so if someone says no to a leader... dont trade it.

he uses the second character to say things like "wow what a good offer" "you should accept that offer owner"

If you refuse to trade without a leader he isnt going to trade you. Remember ot use your head while trading. If you have been after stitch for a long time dont let it cloud your judgement!

I'd say no to a leader just because I see no reason for it. It just gives you a better chance of being scammed.

But if the person who will recieve a large number of items says no to a leader, you really shouldn't trust them. Although I see no point in it, I've never seen someone who actually rejected them in a trade not be a scammer.
