Good breakfast place in Cromwell/Middletown CT area?

I'm going to a wedding next month and am looking for a good breakfast place in the Cromwell/Middletown CT area. (No chain restaurant suggestions please.) Any recommendations? Thanks!

Hi I don't know what your looking for there are several diners one in Middletown on Washington Street and there is one in Cromwell on Rt 72 they are both pretty good. Where are you staying and where are you coming from? I don't know if the Raddison Hotel serves breakfast. If I can be of any other help just hollar

I haven't been to O'Rourkes on Main St. in Middletown but it is always hopping. It always has a long line, though, not sure if you are looking for a large group, though, as the diner itself is small. Also the Athenian Diner on Washington St. is great- we are going there tomorrow!! There are several smaller 'college' type breakfast joints on Main st- Brewbakers is one- it's an order at the counter, wait until your number is called type of a place.

I will echo the votes for the Cromwell Diner!!! Definitely a good choice even for lunch, dinner or late night meals!
