Hi all,

I'm getting very excited about my trip and has luck would have it, I'm also looking for a good book (or books) to read as I finish the one I'm reading.

Does anyone have good recommendations for books about Walt, as well as books about Disneyland and in particular, the history of Disneyland? I find the history of places to be fascinating, especially a place like Disneyland.

Thanks in advance everybody! :)

We have the Disneyland Encyclopedia, which lists all the attractions since the beginning of the park and it is pretty informative. But it is an alphabetical listing, so no story line to speak of. I also read the Walt Disney biography by Neal Gabler and it was a very thorough life story, including the early days of Walt's animation studios, where I now see they used a lot of when naming things in the DCA remodel. I am always looking for good books too, so hopefully more people share good ones they've read!

I can highly recommend:

-LOVE LOVE LOVE and have re-read, "How to Be Like Walt." It's in the business section and I have even done presentations utilizing this book. Some parts are sad and brought a tear to my eye.
