anyone want to share some of there best Birthday events while at Disney World?

:bday:

Well, the wife and I spent her birthday at WDW at the Polynesian. The best event was being upgraded to the Concierge level! :teeth:

We really enjoyed the Segway tour and a very special dinner at Bistro de Paris where we had the degustation menu.

We had a lovely dinner too, at the YSH (the evening of the actual birthday) where Ricardo was our server. He is an incredible person. You'll not find another server more dedicated to your comfort and to your having a good time.

I ordered a cake from the Polynesian's bakery. It was seriously yummy. :teeth: They'll special order cake, filling and decoration.

Ummm...we did the parks of course...

Oh, we rented a pontoon boat and had a good old "sail" down the canals from DTD to Riverside, OKW and back again. It was very relaxing and a great way to work on the tan. :teeth:

We stayed for Wishes. We stayed for Illuminations. We enjoyed the concierge level snacks and treats.

Does that help at all?

Hey thanks for the info... I appreciate your time!!
They hubby tells me I am trying to be way toooo involved in my birthday planning... lol :rotfl2:

OK, so having read your siggie badge... :teeth:

There is parasailing available, specialty cruises available, horseback riding, the segway tour at Fort Wilderness... Loads of fun things for active young men. :D :D HEY!! This is DISNEY!!!

Be sure to get a birthday badge as you enter the park (city hall for MK) and if you feel like being a tiny bit more noticed, get the birthday cake hat! :rotfl2: You'll have all sorts of attention then. :teeth:

Mostly? Have a grand time.

We have yet to go to Disney on our birthdays. It would be the best birthday ever. We brought my best friend to DLR on his birthday earlier this year. We got him his pin and birthday Mickey ears. He was getting so much attention all day from people in the park and almost every CM. Made it really special for him. Next year we get in for free of course, so I'm excited to take my partner there for his.

I was at WDW for my birthday this year.

We had dinner at Flying Fish and we had a fabulous cake from Boardwalk Bakery. :goodvibes

On my actual birthday we had dinner at Citrico's, and they wrote "Happy Birthday" on my dessert plate and gave me a personalized menu.
In the afternoon on my birthday I was presented with a pin and a serenade from Scoop Sanderson in the middle of Main Street.

AKL concierge delivered a little gift to our room along with my birthday button.

We booked the Sunrise Safari, which was awesome!

During the same trip we got to be Grand Marshals of the parade at MK, but I wasn't wearing my birthday button that day. That was just lucky! ;)

We'll be back at WDW for my birthday next year. So far we are planning to order another awesome cake and have lots of signature dinners! :thumbsup2

Would it be a little much if someone were to wear their birthday pin every day? Just curious! :goodvibes

not at all... enjoy it. I call it my birthday weekend. :cool1:

My birthday usually starts at AK and then I end it at MK... Something about MK it must be done on my birthday. :santa:

Weekend, sure. But I'll be there an entire week! lol I'm also spending the day of my birthday. It just makes sense to spend it at the Disney-est of the parks.

lol... wish I could stay the whole week... but the weekend will have to do for me. At least I get to spend my actual bday at MK & AK. I got a few other trips planned to WDW so I have to space them out lol.... :rotfl:
