We are heading over to Universal for a couple of days in June (the 18-20th to be exact). We have never stayed on-site before, but we thought if we could get a good AP rate, then we would. I called today and got:

PBH - $199 1st nt/$219 2nd nt
HRH - $194/$214
RPR - $174/$194

These are all standard rooms, except RPR which has a free upgrade to Pool View, I think. We would like to stay on site to take advantage of the FOTL passes. Is it going to be really busy on those days do you think? We don't mind standing in line for a little bit (20 minutes would be good!). I know I can get better rates off site plus parking is free with AP except the $15/nt if we stayed at the hotel.

Also, has anyone ever found any of the Universal hotels on the travel bidding sites for good prices? (Hotwire, Priceline, etc.)

Ahhhhh! I don't what to do!:confused3

Yes it should be very busy that time of year due to people start taking there vacations as soon as the schools let out for summer break.
you might want to check and see if there are any super saver rates for your time cause I am going June 21-28 and I am paying $144 a night for week days and $152 for the week end at the RPR but that is a standard room

How do you check for "super saver" rates? Just ask when calling?

Any way to check for AP rate besides calling?

Trying to figure out our best rate for September 9-11th.

When checking on Universal website there is an area for a code, put in APH.

The SS rates ended at the end of April but it was based on the number of nights you were staying. We are only staying 4 nights and our SS rate was more expensive than the AP rate in June so we went with the AP rate. This is our first time staying onsite and we are looking forward to just kicking back and relaxing and taking our time. And with a 6 year old the FOTL Express Pass seems like the way to go plus the pools are an extra bonus!:woohoo:
