Will try to be brief-ish~~~
Day 1
CRT breakfast brunch---definitely worth it, especially if you have little girls. We all enjoyed the breakfast. I like how it was served to your table, but still all you can eat. I think it was the best "breakfast buffet" type meal I've tried so far, followed by Chef Mickey at a VERY close second. (Just for comparison, we've also tried Crystal Palace and Boma's in the past) I don't think I would get up at 6:00 in the morning though again to make the reservations unless it was something special again.
Biergarten Dinner Buffet---DH and brother really liked the sauerbraten. I thought the food was "OK", and SIL didn't like it very much at all. We did enjoy the polka band and SIL and niece did some polka-ing. (We're Germans from Wisconsin!!!)
Day 2
Hollywood and Vine Dinner Buffet Fantasmic Package---
Now we've tried all the Fantasmic Packege meals and this will be our choice in the future. While it wasn't "fantastic", we think it's better than Mama Melrose or Brown Derby. We had bad experiences at both of these. The buffet is good, but not spectacular and we'll probably only go there for the package.
Day 3---
Chef Mickey Dinner Buffet---we enjoyed this as usual. We still think this is one of the better buffets, breakfast or dinner. (We'd still like to try 1900 Park Fair and Cape May, both of which get good reviews for comparison eventually) I think it's hard to top the Chef Mickey character fun and experience for the kids.
Day 4---
Grand Floridian Cafe---
This was delicious. We had sandwiches and topped the meal with my special surprise of Cinderella's Slippers for the ladies and Dalmation Dog Bones for the gentleman. They were as stunning as described in other threads and delicious also. DH and I are going to go back here in December to try the chocolate dipping dessert, and I look forward to trying another great entree. Since they are open all day, I thought it might be a nice late afternoon meal before MVMCP!!!
O'hana's---the kids loved this. I think for kids we did a wonderful combination of children's dining. CRT, Chef Mickey and O'hana's, all different, and all fun. Although the food was excellent, we did miss the more traditional side dishes with the meat. Would definitely do this when going with kids again. The pineapple and caramel dipping sauce for dessert were delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, that's about it. Had to have my usual bunch of Mickey Rice Krispie bars, a Tollhouse Icecream Sandwich, and had Pizza at Pizzafari, which was nice.
