We booked our first cruise in November 2002, I discovered the DIS in January 2003, we sailed on our first cruise in August 2003. This site was such a tremendous help in our planning, we also met some great DIS'ers at the Radisson the night before the cruise, and more DIS'ers in the DCL Terminal and on the Magic!!! Cruise number two on the Magic comes up in six weeks for us, and we can't wait!!!

I discovered this site, or actually my sister did, about 2 months before we were to take our first Disney cruise, with the land/sea package.

We sailed DCL a few times before I found this site...and several times after finding this site...I keep learning new things all the time...even after 10 DCL cruises!!!

Like VMan, I booked the cruise and happily chanced upon this site while looking for cruise reviews and tips. So glad I found y'all!!!

I found this site through another site. I was mentioned on the PassPorter boards. I was a frequent lurker, for over a year, before I booked my cruise.
I signed up after I booled my Aug, 2003 cruise because I wanted to join the roll call post.

I was performing a search on the internet when I was lucky enough to have linked up to this site....it provided us a wealth of information for our first as well as 2nd trip as I am sure it will help with our 3rd booked for March 2005.

It made the planning and organizing that much easier and less stress.

All the Diser's who ask and respond to questions make it priceless. Throughout my time here I have been very fortunate to have "read/met" interesting Diser's...

And I can now admit that I am completely addicted to these boards....

However..I do find that it is unfortunate that some of the more 'interesting' posters no longer post as often or at all, due to some others sensitivities.....regardless.... you will always find very nice and helpful people on these boards.

I consider myself very lucky to hace stumbled across these boards, and VERY grateful to all the information and help I have received...

We went on two Disney cruises before finding this site. We're preparing for our third. These boards are very helpful.

I knew of this site because my mom had found it but my family and ex-boyfriend didn't allow me to get on it...they wanted me to be suprised!! But my mom was doing all the great research on here for that trip!!

We went on a Disney cruise four years prior. Then, we booked another Disney cruise, and I wanted to learn as much as I could. I think I found this site the same day we booked the cruise. I thought I knew a lot about cruising, but I learned so much from these boards!

I was not at all interested in going on this cruise...or any for that matter. A little nervous, and I couldn't figure out what could be so fun about floating around on a "boat"...well, as you can see floating around on a "ship" is now my FAVORITE way to vacation! We only live 40 minutes from the port, so that helps in keeping our travel costs down. If I had found this site BEFORE cruising, I may not have been so nervous! When I returned from the first cruise I was bitten by the cruising bug, had heard people talking about the boards while waiting in line to embark, and well...now I am an addict! (and I say that with pride!) ::yes::

I found this site before our second trip to WDW. It helped tremendously in planning that trip. I started lurking on the cruise thread and it convinced me to book a DCL vacation!::yes::

I went on a cruise before finding this site.

However, I found this site to be a fantastic source of information and an excitement builder. The people who post here "share the magic" with each other.

I told my whole family about this site. We were all sharing bits of info we found here with each other.

We are very grateful to everyone who takes the time to post!

:teeth: I have a very kind friend who introduced me to this site before we go on our cruise. I am thrilled she found it because the information has been wonderful. Thanks so much to everyone. Pauline::yes::

This is my first posting and i'm a wanna be. Thinking about booking in the spring of 06 when the dates are out. seems sooooo far off. found this site last week while on the mouse site. becouse my pirates were watching the tape we got a while ago, thanks to everyone for all the info i have taken of here so far its been great. Does anyone know if there is any hotels that offer free suttle to the port and the airport, as I will have to pinch pinnies to be able to pull this off. I want to know everything before hand as i want no problems after an eight hour flight there thanks. pirate:

If you have an incredibly long flight and arriving late there is a Hyatt Hotel right in the MCO airport. There are many hotels locally that will have a shuttle from the airport. You would then need to have transportation to port. DCL will take you right from the MCO Hyatt and deal with your bags.

You can not get a free shuttle to the port or port area hotels. It is just too far away for that. You can go to the Radisson or Ron Jon's in Port Canaveral and get a free shuttle from there, but you would have to arrange your transportation to the hotel property.
