Gone Mad Party at GF

Are these still going on every Wednesday? We are going to WDW September. If so if we are there for dinner at 1900 can we stay parked at GF to attend the party also? Is this a full open bar or are only select drink available for purchase? Anyone have pictures of desserts available? Thank you any information.

Yes, they are still going on and it's only a place to sit. The food and drinks are all available for purchase.

I'm not sure. On the link Baler posted it says "open to all guests of GF" so I'm thinking it's not open to people not staying there. Doesn't hurt to ask while your there.

I just read an article here on the Dis, "The party is free and open to anyone, not just resort guests. Food and drinks will require an additional fee."

I know some are thinking it should be just for guests staying at the GF, but I'm hoping it's for everyone. I'd like to try and make it to this next month when we're down there

According to what I read, no, you do not have to be staying at the GF to go to this.

Darn - I'll be there soon, but our only Wednesday I have the whole afternoon and evening planned for DAK so we'll miss this. It looks very cute, and a nice way to sit and have a cute overpriced drink! I'm a sucker for glow cubes!

I love this! I have never even considered going to one of the paid Dessert Parties. I just didn't see the value in it. But, I would definitely check out this one. And yes, even buy something to eat and drink. It makes so much more sense. I always love to visit the GF anyway. Hope it is still going on in September. We'll be there. That's our "down day" anyway, so it would be a great way to cap off the day.
