So hubby and I just sat down to look at the “schedule” for our trip in October and I gave him 3 mornings when he could go play golf by himself. We’ve done this before but it was 3 years ago. We understand that they will put you with a group and not keep you solo. He wanted to play each course. So he called to book a tee time and was quite put off because the person on the other end said he couldn’t book a tee time because he was a single player and wouldn’t be able to book until 3 days out. So, we’ve used “ShipStix” in the past and you clubs get sent right to the golf course you’re playing and they get send out more than a week in advance. Does one have to ask specifically to be put in a 2some or 3some? How can we “book a time” and know that we’re not wasting $ by shipping clubs to Florida?

(Sorry if posted in the wrong area)

Last time I booked a tee time online you could book solo, so you may want to try online.

They have tightened up on the solo players, I remember playing all the courses alone. I think an option could be that to book a 2 some and cancel 1 player at the 3 day out window. Also since you mentioned a schedule did you consider Sunrise 9? I do it all the time and I am back in the room before 10am
Hope you have a good trip.

Slightly off topic, but has anyone done the mini-golf solo? Is that frowned upon?
