Golf

Who here plays golf? I play about every weekend, and I've never had lessons. I average about a Bogey, on a Par 3 course.

Although I don't, DH does-alot! His dream is to make the PGA Senior tour. He golfs at least 3 times per week. He tried to get me to take it up, but I saw a snake on my second time out, so that was my last golfing trip!

On my last visit to WDW my father played a round of golf. I didn't go, I was too busy having fun.

Have never done the "real thing" although DH wants me to give it a try. He likes it, has never taken lessons and only goes half a dozen times or so during the course of the summer, but he still enjoys it whenever he gets the chance. I just don't see the point of it....I'd rather just drive the little cart around....

My DH has been golfing for 20+ years and my son who is 15 golfs for his HS Boys Golf Team.
He also takes private lessons at $100 an hour

I used to golf when my son was younger, but I haven't in a long time.

I love to play, but don't play very much any more. I used to play over 100 rounds a year back about 15 years ago. I now play four or five times a year, and my game has definitely suffered as a result (I added 10 strokes to my handicap).

Love it! Play every weekend. Wish I could play more, but my kids like to eat.

I used to play quite a bit more, that's before my current job as taxi driver to all the youth soccer, baseball, basketball, wrestling games and matches. Now I go out 3-4 per year.

Not me! As a teenager I walked 18 holes with my Dad. I only putted the greens and my Dad still had a score twice as good as me!

My name is Linda and I'm a golf addict.

I play at least once a week. Go to the driving range and practice greens twice a week. If I didn't have to work, I'd play everyday.

As much as possible -- but unfortunately, family, school, work, etc. has made it harder to get out as much as I used to. I now only play maybe 10-15 rounds a season.

Hopefully, we're reviving our annual Florida golf trip this winter -- 4 days, 36 holes a day!

Hey, SeaShelley-I definitely know what you're going through. Imagine if you lived in an area of the country where the climate was such that DH played year-round. We used to live in New England, I didn't know how fortunate I was, until we moved down here where DH can play all year round-Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, etc, etc,etc....
