I am thinking of taking a day on my Thanksgiving trip to golf at one of the WDW courses. I will only have one opportunity. I don't know which course to play. I am sure they are all great but I could sure use some comments from all you WDW golfers.

:earsboy:

We love the Palm course. It is a classic course. I personally like Osprey Ridge because of all the hills. The Magnolia has the famous Mickey Mouse sand trap, but I do not enjoy that course as much as the Palm. I am not a big fan of Eagle Pines. Lake Buena Vista is not as nice as the other four. My first choice would be the Palm, then Osprey Ridge. Have a great trip!

Its difficult to answer your question without knowing what your are used to and how much you are into golf. Having said that, I'd suggest that you couldn't go too far wrong with any of the Disney courses. Some are more difficult than others. Just for the beauty alone, I'd suggest Ospry Ridge. If you enjoy watching golf on TV, you might want to try the Palm & Magnolia courses, which are where the pro's play in October.

A good website is http://www.wdwgolf.com/

I can't remember were I've read it but I thought there was going to be some major reconstruction on the palm and magnolia courses. I wouldn't think it would start before Funai in Oct. but it might start right after. It maybe worth it to check it out before you get your heart set on one course.:)

My personal favorite is Oak Trail because you can walk the course. Taking a cart drives me nuts. I love to walk a golf course and Oak Trail, while it is only 9 holes is a fun place to play 9.

Here's a link to all of theDisney Golf Courses

Have fun.

I am a huge fan of the two Bonnet Creek courses...Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines. I have golfed all 99 holes at WDW, but my two favorites by far are OR and EP. My least favorite is LBV, which is very tightly tree lined as well as close to various resorts including OKW.

I am golfing EP during the last week in December.

The only one DH hasn't played is Palm, so he can't compare that. He likes Osprey Ridge the best, followed by LBV. LBV is a little tight, with houses all around, which a lot of golfers don't like (remember you're probably being watched from a lot of balconies!) Oak Trail is also a good course. Once both DS, playing his very first round ever, and DH, who's handicap is 1 or 2, played there together. Even with 2 extreme skill levels, both golfers really enjoyed their play-not too challenging for DS, not too easy and possibly boring for DH.

I have only golfed OR and EP and both of those course are great. I enjoyed OR more then EP, but that was because I thought EP was a little short.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the courses.
