Golf umbrella on Vigin planes

Can I take a golf Umbrella on a virgin plane as carry on or will I jave to but a big enough bag to put it through hold luggage?

Why are you going to bring a Golf umbrella to Orlando ?

If it is for using as a sunshade ..... buy one over there .

If it is for using in the Parks ... you will not be popular as it will get in the way.... as you walk around .

If it is for using on the golf course then pack it with your Golf clubs

Well the answer was yes! I just had to hand it to the air crew when I got on the plane. I am now the proud owner of a very smart Griffindor brolly
