We knew other people on the golf excursion in Mazatlan. They didn't complain about the golf course, but did complain about the heat and humidity while playing. It was HOT and HUMID in Mazatlan and that is coming from a NE'er that is used to heat and humidity. The heat and humidy in FL in the summer doesn't bother me, but it did in Mazatlan. That might give you an idea. Really, only a place for a beach excursion, or something involving water which causes another problem. Jellyfish. There wre TONS in Mazatlan and ran into MANY people who were stung in Mazatlan. A lot were children who weren't swimming that far off shore, though those who went snorkling also reported problems. I played it safe and only let my kids go up to their knees, basically just in a bit and I still saw jellyfish at that depth. We were just lucky I guess. Mazatlan was my least favorite port, can't you tell......
