Golf for husband?? Help!!

We will be going to WDW 9/29-10/4 and I want to reserve a tee time for dh while we are there and surprise him. I am just wondering if anyone has suggestions for which course and why? I have no idea how to choose. Also, does anyone know if the Magnolia course will be open? I know it is closed through the middle of September, but do they keep it closed until the tournament or will it open and then close again?

I think Lake Buena Vista is by far the best and it is the cheapest...Magnolia may be closed because the PGA event comes a couple weeks after you leave.

I think Palm and Magnolia are both closed in October because of the Classic.

There is an as-yet-unadvertised special where you get two rounds for $169. This can be two rounds at the same course, or two rounds at two different courses. If he's golfing in October, it's a great deal!

When you call, ask for the October two-round special. They likely won't mention it until you ask, and if they say they've never heard of it, ask them to look. Not all the CMs at Disney Golf seem to be aware of it yet.

Gotta agree with Lake Buena Vista as a "best buy". DH really likes that course. He's played many, MANY times, and for "Wow" factor (beautiful scenery), he'd recommend Osprey Ridge.

I have played the Disney Courses for many years. Lake Buena Vista is the best value. However, by far the most senic and fun to play is Osprey Ridge with Eagle Pines coming in second.

We just got back and played at Eagle Pines, Buena Vista and Osprey ridge. I really liked Buena Vista because it went through Old Key West which was kind of cool. Osprey ridge was very scenic and had some beautiful holes. all the courses are beautiful. Have fun deciding.
