Golf Courses Near Universal?

I'm taking DS to Universal for his 18th birthday/graduation gift and he really wants to go golfing too. Can anyone recommend a golf course (he is a beginner, has been just a few times) that is within a reasonable taxi distance and appropriate for him and his GF16? Thanks.

The closest public course is the MetroWest Golf Club. My parents have played that course and really liked it. It's only 10 mins from Universal. If he's staying onsite, they offer complimentary shuttle service to the club from the hotels.

Thanks alot. This fits the bill so to speak. I love that they have a shuttle since he can't rent or drive a rental car because of his age.
