Golf Club Membership

Not sure if this is the right place to put this question but I hope you all can help us! We are trying to figure out whether it would be better to buy a Disney Golf Club membership or, when we come to SSR, to book my DH's golf games using the 2 for 1 deal.

When will you be at WDW? I am Florida resident and DVC, and I have never done the golf membership, mainly because I tend to play most of my golf at Disney during the summer, at which time they have the price slice after 10am. I cant really recall what the discount is for the membership, but my guess is its only worthwhile if he is playing during the winter, or in the early morning during summer...

I played Osprey during out summer trip. Seems either a fellow golfer or a monorail operator (hey we rode up front once) told me member rate is $35.

I would just call the course of the GOLF line to get the specifics. I use the price slice as I didn't really have the time or want to spend time away from the family for a second round of golf. My little nephew has an interest in the game so if he starts to play then I can book more tee times in a trip.
