Golf cart to WL?

I'm presuming the answer is no... but if you have hired a golf cart can you drive it across the trail to the WL?

You would be correct. You cannot drive your cart on the path to WL. You can however, walk or ride your bike over there.

I just have to wonder why it is that they don't provide some golf cart parking at the end of the trail for those who want to take them over to the WL. I mean I've seen people leave their carts there and walk across to the Lodge anyway. The dining options at the Fort are so awful ...that it is very tempting to take the cart over to the Lodge for a quick bite at the Roaring Forks or a sit down meal at either Whispering Canyon. I can understand not allowing them be on the Lodge property..there just isn't the room for them. However, making a parking area for them at the end of the trail connecting the Fort and Lodge would be very convenient. Either that...or they really should put some effort into improving the selections at the Trails End. Just my opinion.

It is just over a mile (1.07 to be exact!) and dead flat... so you tell me, how long does that take YOU? At a leisurely pace it takes me 12-20 minutes.

It really bugs me that they don't let you take your cart over there. It would make pool hoping so much easier . Just kidding but it does bug me.

Not only can you, I did. It was quite by accident -the signs are so small, we missed them (honestly).

Security did NOT take kindly to our little excursion. It was a mistake and they were borderline not believing us.

It was a very nice ride though
