I have heard that outside rentals are no longer allowed at Ft. Wilderness.
Is this correct?

Also I am having a hard time finding a contact number for Kenny at Tee Time Rentals.

Please PM me his number if you have it or the name of number of other rental place that is cheaper than Disney.

I got a Kenny cart reserved for August and I know many others have been speaking about their very recent experiences with "outside" buggy vendors at the fort, so they are allowed as discamper mentioned.

the phone number is linked to Custom Carriages Inc and they would be the last place I think I would consider doing business with after they began their deceptive ad campaign here on the Board.

It amazes me that this juliegolf doesn't understand that what she has done (at least for me) caused more harm than good for the business they are affiliated with. Why would anyone trust a business that attempts what they did?

Kenny has always been on his own, this was all about Steve.

Being new on the Forum this situation has really become confusing.

I have seen Kenny’s name mentioned relative to golf cart rentals often among the posts on this forum and he has always gotten positive reviews. I believe Kenny’s company’s name is Tee Time Golf Carts.


After Tuesday’s 15+ posts by this juliegolf person I saw the name Steve mentioned for the fist time. In a few of the post by juliegolf it was written that ‘Steve no longer works there’, but juliegolf never explained where THERE was nor did she/he ever identify the business name of the phone number she/he was prompting or her/his relationship to the business – for me that was the deception. The phone number being promoted Tuesday is associated with a company using two names Custom Carriages, Inc and Golf & Electric Carts.

So at this point this is what I think Tim5055 was saying …. Please correct me if I am wrong. Steve worked for Custom Carriages, Inc an/or Golf & Electric Carts, but has left them to go into business for himself, competing with both his old employer and Kenny. The poster (juliegolf) from Tuesday was apparently an employee of Custom Carriages, Inc and/or Golf & Electric Carts and was attempting to promote that company(s) in an effort to prevent Steve from taking there business.

Kenny, has nothing to do with any of this and is still operating his Tee Time Cart business.

Now – I do not care who anyone uses for there cart rentals – my last cart came from FW. But (and this is me talking for MYSELF), I do not condone the use a Forum to promote ones business in the way juliegolf attempted to do Tuesday. For me, her/his association was with the companies (Custom Carriages, Inc and Golf & Electric Carts) that the phone number she/he was posting Tuesday. I saw there attack as deceptive and for me that deception as a reflection of the company they were attempting to prompt. I will not use them.

My confidence will come from the personal reviews posted on this board by its legitimate members about there experiences with various 3rd party venders.

Yes, I believe they shot themselves in the foot.

It might be better to keep rentals on the down low some what, after all, Disney is all about the bottom line.

I am not trying to be mean in anyway but as 2goofycampers has said keep it on the down low. this is not the only place it is going on at. Mods are doing a great job on it also. just don't want to get disney mad at all this and kill the fun over one now two campanies.
