A few questions for you folks:

1. I have a cart reserved for my stay in Nov/Dec for 10 days. Do they give me the charger to take with me for the duration of the stay or do I have to turn it in each night?

2. How many trips around the camp can I get on a full charge?

3. Are these 36v or 48v

4. Are these just gas carts and i'm asking all useless questions?

Thanks for the info!

You get a charger

2. How many trips around the camp can I get on a full charge?
Lots

3. Are these 36v or 48v
36v (I think)

4. Are these just gas carts and i'm asking all useless questions?
Nope, electric

the charger usually stays on the cart on the back under the seat so you don't have to mess with it...you just pull out the plug and plug it all in...

I've only used my own cart and never rented a Disney cart, but I have seen lots of them around the Fort. There are two body styles used by Disney. The previous body style and the current one. The older body style has the charger sitting in the area where you would normally have the foot of the golf bags. The rear seat covers this area. The newer body style has the charger in the same area, but it is built in with a cord rewinder like a vacuum clean uses. Each campsite has a post with its number on it at the corner by the street. There is a double electric receptacle on this post where you can plug the cart in for charging over night. each of the golf cart parking lots has a series of outlets available so you can charge the cart while you are in the parks during the day. During a week we generally charge our cart two maybe three times overnight and we have never really run the batteries down except once when they weren't fully charged when we arrived. The carts Disney uses probably have newer batteries than our '03's original ones so they probably don't need charging quite as often. However, we don't do a lot of "looping" so we might not need to charge as often as those who do. There is an exterior receptacle for charging at the cabins as well.
