They usually do one on the 4th of July too! Just lots of great patriotic themes. The Fort is truly the best!

We have been plotting and planning on the decorations for our golf cart for the 4th of July stay, I am so excited. We did decorate for both Halloween and Christmas but were not there for the parades

I too am trying to decide what to do for my décor for the 4th parade. I was thinking about getting the kids battery operated rope lights for their bike.

We will also be there for the 4th. As a surprise, I reserved a golf cart for the week - we have not done that before. I've also ordered a box full of misc. 4th of July decorations from Party City. Plan to let my girls decorate the golf cart for the parade and use the remainder around the site.

I rented a cart, but we don't pick up until the 4th. If I can get a six seater on the 3rd, I might extend my reservation. The boys will be decorating their bikes for the parade and so I am unsure if we will be entering our cart or not.

I just saw that target actually has battery led lights for the fourth- red, what and blue stars- SO CUTE! Good luck! sounds like fun.

Since Halloween is on Monday, will they have the parade on Monday or the weekend before? Does anyone know?

Since Halloween is on Monday, will they have the parade on Monday or the weekend before? Does anyone know?

The last few years the parade has been October 31st at 5:00 p.m. so you can expect it to be on the Monday. To be absolutely sure, check ahead of time by calling to Bike Barn.

Yeah, Terri, it's usually been on THE day of Halloween.

Hopefully we will have the Recreation/Activities calendar posted at the start of the month to know for sure.

Thanks Ed. We will be there through the 1st, but my sister and family are checking out on Sunday. She was hoping it was going to be on Saturday. Now the question is......do we participate or just enjoy the show?!?!
