Saw more carts this year than ever. Also saw cars & trucks speeding up to pass carts on a solid yellow line. Anybody aware of any unofficial etiquette? I know you can't take carts on the sidewalks, but should carts pull over to the side to let vehicular traffic pass? Seems like a golf cart going at a good clip must be close to 20 MPH anyway.:confused3

Dissy,

In the handout given to anyone at checkin, the golf cart rules state that carts should be on the road and yield to larger vehicles.

So yes carts should pull over to the side and let those two ton cars pass them. :moped:

Ed is correct , buggies should yeild to larger vehicles.
That being said, most , but not all) of the vehicles (cars & trucks) at the Fort drive like idiots when it comes to the speed limit.
The speed limit is 20 mph, our buggy's top speed is 22mph and cars pass me like I'm sitt'n still.

and before anyone points a finger at me, YES, I do as close to the speed limit as possible at the Fort.
