Golf at Osprey Ridge?Lunch at Sand Trap Grille?

How is the Osprey Ridge Golf Club? Understand it is the "most popular" among the Disney Golf Courses..On Deluxe Dining Plan, Sand Trap Grille is an option of lunch...Anyone eaten there for Lunch?

We've done both and enjoyed it (well, if you can call a 100+ stroke round of golf enjoying it). The course is spectacular and challenging. The facilities are top notch. The carts all have GPS in them so you always know how far away you are from the green/water/group in front of you.

Sand Trap Grille is a good place to have a beer and pub-type food after the round. Nice relaxed atmosphere and the food's pretty good.

Hi, I just have a quick question regarding Osprey.

How crowded does it get? Is it hard to get a tee time? Do I need to make all the tee times well in advance, or can we be more flexible? We will be going to WDW around Thanksgiving time.

Reservations 90 days in advance..If I were going at that time, I would take advantage of it and make reservation!

Disney Resort guests are given $10 off each person....If you go on www.disneygolf.com you can see the different golf courses and price ranges for different times of yr..Pretty nice!
I was told OspreyRidge is the most popular.

I've played Osprey many times and it is definitely my favorite Disney course. While I have not had a sit down lunch at Sand Trap, I have eaten breakfast there many times, as well as had lunch take out. I have always been happy with my meal, and its not overly expensive.

Oh and I agree with Goofy, the words "golf" and "enjoy" rarely collide in the same sentence

ps...While you are at Sand Trap, be sure to check out the big picture of Tiger with his major trophies, and the note he sent to Bob Iger, its pretty cool....
