If you are heading to Universal Pre-Grand Opening of the Wizarding World post here. Date, hotel, etc and we can come back here after our vaca and compare notes..

We are either, as one poster was told, holding the Golden Ticket ...or, if not I think we will be totally ticked

I WAS not very hopeful BUT there was one thing I did forget about..the Virgin Vacation Packages for the British were announced ( and sold ) POST GO date announcement. Those packages start at the same time as the US ones, May 28.
The sale date started for those packages, I think, around April 11. The packages promise to experience everything.

May 30-June 6
Hard Rock Hotel ( or a possible upgrade to the Hogwarts suite )
Onsite stay only, no package for me, bought tickets from MapleLeaf.
DH, DD ( 18) , DS ( 14) and myself ( 2OLD)

June 17th-21st
onsite HRH. I was told buy our AAA agent through a Universal rep. that on the 17th we will have full access to everything in WWOHP and obviously the 18th being the grand opening. And also was told starting on the 19th we will have early morning access to WWoHP thus being allowed in one hour before the general public

Unless you were just joking, there is no Hogwarts suite anywhere on Universal property, nor are there any plans to build one.

5-29 to 6-5 Room only at HRH 2 adults and 1 teenager. Using cheap $99 tickets. Might cancel based on news coming out about soft openings of WWOHP.

Just joking. But according to a Universal Rep they are getting people trying to book there :rotfl:

May 15 - 22 - Condo off site. Just close enough to be ticked. But hope the lines will be short.

June 4-9. HRH First onsite stay:banana:. Hoping for an upgrade to Dumbledore Deluxe suite, or a soft opening. Either would be fine with me!

At this point I would take Azkaban if it got me in. Heck, the Dementors (Universal ) had better be prepared for my Patronus Charm. :wizard:

Don't cancel, we will have a pity party together by the HRH pool!!:grouphug:

I will be at PBH june 5-10......It will be a long week if dd daughter doesnt get to see more than the gates of wwohp....But could be great on my wallett....lol...No my daughter is so stoked its not even funnny...so id dad!we havent been to universal since 2007....need my fix....

We'll be staying onsite at HRH May 28-31. Family of 4, myself, my wife, and our 2 sons (17 & 14).

I bought 7 day tickets from Mapleleaf for $128 a ticket (received 14 day tickets).

Apparently I'm one of the lucky few to have received a written email response from HRH regarding gaining access during our entire stay. Hopefully that will hold up!

Has anyone talked to Universal this week to see what story they are telling?? Just curious!!

We (me, my two daughters and their bff) are staying June 2-4 at Hard Rock for first time.
Have stayed at RPR many times, but are excited to try HR and we are also trying club level for first time. We are annual passholders and bff got her ticket at AAA - 7 day pass for 137.95 (+ tax $150).
If they don't let us in to HP I will have to get another room just for me so I won't have to hear three teenagers crying the whole time. I have a good feeling about it though. My money (literally) is on that we get in!:woohoo:

I like the way you think cornishpixie! :thumbsup2 Good vibes! Indydenise- we should figure out how to get together. I'll have DH and DS(13) with me. Can't wait for HRH!:cool1:

It looks like quite a few of us will be at HRH at the same time. We should compare notes at the pool about our "previews". Maybe over a cocktail?:goodvibes

We should, seriously!! Or if nothing else we can drown our sorrows and then recon into HP at midnight. Bring some camo type clothes, ziplines, and night googles. We are going in, baby, one way or another. :thumbsup2

Sounds good to me- the drowning our sorrows and the zipline.:hyper:
