You can't make reservations--your best bet would be to get in line 30-45 minutes before the first show (i.e., be first in line) and grab one of the boxes. Although I prefer front row!
I agree with toocherie. When we want to sit in one of the booths we make sure we're first, or close to first in line, and make a beeline for them. Front row is fun, too.
Today we sat about in the middle of the room & had a great view of the guys performing.
Yup, no reservations but front row is awesome if you don't get a box. We also like upstairs but only if down is too full. We grab a table and then 2 of our group go get food while the other 2 save our table and 4 chairs, it never fails that someone asks for our chairs because they have more in their group, we say "sorry, we need these, the rest of our gang is getting food". We like to go and get 1 basket of moz sticks and fries, 1 of chicken strips and fries and 2 sundaes, it's more then enough to share!!
Pixie, can you still get mozzarella sticks there? My friend and I always used to get those, but haven't seen them on the menu the last couple times we've been in. Can you still ask for them?
Also, what time does Golden Horseshoe open its doors?
I haven't been since January so I really don't know for sure. I do know that DBF went to the little stand on the outside of the GH (can't remember the name, Stagecoach or Stagedoor Cafe?) and he got some there.
If you have not seen the show before; do make reservations to see it. The boxes seem really cool. I have seen the show from them before. The actors climb right by and even chat with you during the show. The problem is that the sound system for the show is not set up to mix properly in those boxes and as a result you really miss the full sound effect. I suggest sitting anywhere toward the front of the stage instead.
