Hello! The fridge worked great and yes I believe you could fit a smaller coffee pot in there. The box is getting super beat up though and finding something to replace that soon will probably be necasary. I never actually spoke with ryan840, he set up the swap for a friend of his named Michelle. But I left her a message with the info, left the receipt with the front desk in an envelope and had her information attached to the fridge. When I got the fridge it only had the toaster and cleaning supplies. I added leftover bowls, plastic utinsels, granola bars, an unopened jar of peanut butter we never used, crystal light packets and little condiments such as salt and pepper.

If any one will be driving or have a car and can try to get a large box it sounds like we need it. (DH suggested trying HomeDepot, Lowes or Walmart).

Hi everyone. I'm not going to WDW until September, but am just wondering how people work out the actual swap of the fridge via person to person. Do you take it to the lobby and swap there? Will bell service come and get the fridge from your room and allow you to follow them so you can get it in the lobby? Or do you have to somehow figure out how to carry the fridge to the lobby yourself? I'm sure it's heavy and I am hoping to be staying in the 80's section so am worried about how I am going to get the fridge to my room and then back to the lobby to complete the swap. I am assuming I can have bell service deliver the fridge to my room, is this correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know I still have a while before I get there but I like to plan things out. Thanks.

I have not seen this one in person but I did a search after looking at the pictures that HappyCamperToo had and gave to me. It appears to be one of the taller mini fridges by
Sunbeam. I found one online and it is approx 31.9 inches H, 17.5 inches W, 18.7 inches D. According to a previous poster it weighs approx 50 lbs by itself and we have a toaster plus cleaning supplies... I was planning on adding a coffee pot in Oct if one will fit.
The last swap I was involved in the person before me swapped cell phone # with me so we were able to call each other (upon my arrival, when we were both at the hotel at the same time - which turned out to be a 2am after MK closed) She went to luggage services to get a "truck" instead of just a luggage cart (it is a little strudier). We met outside between the main pool and the main building. (She was in the 50's section I was in the 70's). It was just DD14 and I; we had no problem lifting it together.
When I left I had to put it in luggage services for the next swapper. I could have called but I just decided to do it myself. When I went to get the cart they wanted a room key or drivers lisence - I don't know if they really needed it since the person before didn't do that but I was comming right back so I left my room key.) When I got back to the room DD was unable to help me at the time and I moved it myself although I would have not been too shy to ask someone near by to help me. .

I had the fridge for my trip May 12- 19 it worked great totally a necessity for milk, I left about 4 pepsi's and 4 cananda dry hopefully someone can use them, we couldn't bring them on the plane so figured we would leave them and someone could get some use of them hopefully a pepsi lover. When we got there they had trouble finding the fridge they actually brought my and Dh in the back to find it. It wasn't with the other swaps it was in row 2 on the very top. In case it gets there again. Box is worn by useable. I also left some lysol wipes helps clean it up much better. Thanks for keeping this swap going it has helped us out a lot. Thanks again.

Do you think a full size 12cup coffee pot would fit inside? I planned to bring one. I would like to leave it in the fridge but I don't want to deal with 2 boxes.

Hopefully, we can keep this swap alive for years to come

The coffee pot may be hard to get in there it is a tight fit, there is other stuff in there too, in a mikey bag there are some paper towels, two ponchos, a sharpie, a notebook for signing it and telling how the fridge worked, plastic spoons and bowls, the toaster and I added lysol wipes. Maybe if you take the toaster out of the box and rearrange some stuff it may work. Another idea would be take a shelf out and lay it on the side, it probably would work then. Just bring it down and if I can fit in add it if not you have a coffee pot to bring back. It is wonderful to have this swap again. Thank you and have a great trip.

The picture on the front page is a pretty good picture still looks like that with the gold stars and front page with info. on it. I think WizardLarz was going to put extreme soccermoms info. on it. Just wanted you to know that the picture from the first page is a good picture to use still. The box is definately a little more beat up. Fridge works great though.

Sorry I did'nt drop a note sooner. The fridge workrd great! I'm not sure if a coffee will fit. Of course there are way more bowls in there than needed. I left some envelopes for use. Also a small surprise of four maps showing the photopass spots in all the parks and a 14 page list of the locations of all the penny press machines in WDW. I hope that last won't cause to many problems.

(I had the same problem trying to get a storage ticket back in March in a different swap so I am not to surprised to hear that you had the same issue)
The only time I really worry is when we have a gap of a week or more. Hopefully we can fill the end of June-July and again the end of July-Aug (almost 2 weeks there) then again the end of Aug-Sept.
