Gold Doors (not!) and other general info

Hello from Disneyland!

Had a great couple of days, here is the report:

- Monsters, Inc. ride is fun rode it yesterday and today...no gold door cards. They haven't "received the shipment yet".

- Turned in all my quests, they were handing out a bonus pack of stuff for completing all quests. The packs were mainly Adventureland Series 1 cards.

- Asked how to get the Haunted Mansion cards (other than trade), they did mention that every once in a while a CM will host a treasure hunt game within Innovations at the "cave" VMK area...if you win, you could get HM cards that way. No set schedule. A matter of luck.

May go tomorrow evening one last time and will hope for the gold doors card.

I was there this weekend too. At least now the CMs working Monsters Inc now know what we are talking about when we ask about the Gold doors. But no one has any kind of idea when they will get the cards. I did get some speculation that they don't have the cards yet because the official opening of Monsters is not unitl Jan 20 something.

Also, the scavenger hunt in Innoventions is really easy. I didn't participate but I did listen in while I was creating mules to get black ears. Basically the questions were geared towards getting new players familiar with using the map and searching guest rooms. Some questions were find a room with a fireplace, find a room with a treasure chest, find the place that is a store and a ship (Small World Imports), what attraction used to be in Tomorrowland but now is in Fantasyland (Matterhorn).
