DH is definitely in this camp and has said, after two trips this year (one being 6 days in June), he doesn't want to go back for at least next year (and that is after a break of 2.5 years from our last trip).
I wasn't too pleased at first, but now I have had time to think about it (and believe me I have shocked myself!), I can see his point.
We were lucky enough to holiday in DLRP twice this year, a yorkshire cottage and Greece and also DD1 went to Germany. We/she enjoyed them all in their own way. I think Greece in particular was fantastic as we had our first relaxed family holiday as the girls are growing now - no more nappies/weaning/taking the kitchen sink etc

.
We are off to Egypt next Easter with the family and then who knows in the summer - still nothing booked but I am thinking pool/Med holiday as the girls adore them and we love eating out/going out and about for day trips etc. I am fairly sure that unless something drastic happens, DLRP won't feature in our plans. I had wondered about France with car but the travel alone just doesn't appeal - too trashing for us - DH/DD1 want to try somewhere else.
I do wonder if some of the way I am beginning to feel is because June wasn't such a great trip for us. The girls, although still very small, are getting a bit older, the magic just wasn't there it being our umpteenth trip - not saying that is why as there were various reasons, but I think you start to look into the detail/what isn't working etc more when you have been there so much! However, in contrary, Christmas was amazing - so magical, but I think that was down to the time of year/decs/extra things going on - being our first time. So in summary, I'm not sure it would appeal as much again going say June/non themed time of year again.... at least not for a while.
We too would like to do Florida (on a wider scale than just Disney) in 2015 and boy, do we need to save. For a family of 4, the prices are just ridiculous

. The flights alone are two total trips to DLRP And that is priced at staying in the DLH!! But, we are tied to school holidays and so it is silly money!
I think everyone has their own take on this topic - each to their own I say

.
But, to the OP, if I lived near the place and could do a short hop to get there and had APs, then yes, I would take advantage and go regularly - stay cheap and use it as a theme park, rather than a short break destination/holiday if you see what I mean.
