I know this has been asked a million times, but when should we plan on getting to the parks tomorrow? We are staying off property and didn't know when we should arrive to park in the garage and then wait in line. Suggestions?

My youngest daughter's 8th b-day is tomorrow and then only thing she really wanted to do was Ollivander's. I have already been preparing her for the most certain fact we won't be waiting in line for hours on end. If we needed to do this first, I guess we could, but hubby doesn't want to wait for 2-3 hours for this...

Anyway, what time should we get there to go through the security check point and get to the main get with our tickets in hand?

THANKS for any suggestions!!

Hi,
Just got back yesterday and we stayed on site. We saw the offsite people arriving around 8am for a 9am opening. Keep in mind that you will already have the onsite people lined up for Ollivanders. The store is VERY small and they only take about 10 people in at a time. Prepare yourself for at least a 90 min wait if you get in right when the gates open and high tail it to WWOHP.
Good Luck

We went July 1st and stayed offsite. Got to the park around 9am. Harry Potter line was in toon lagoon. We went ahead and did everything else and saved Harry Potter for the end of the day. We went in around 4pm. FJ wait time was posted as 60 min but it only took 45 min. Single rider line was a lot shorter but we wanted to ride together. DC and FH were posted at 25 min.(We didn't ride those though.) Ollivanders line was outside but don't know how long it took becaue it started to pour rain and we went in 3 broomsticks and ate dinner. The land was much less crowded though in the afternoon. The lines for everything else in the park was 20 min or less with most being walk on in the morning. Hope this helps and enjoy your vacation.

Just a correction on Ollivanders. We were a group of 21 and were joined by a threesome from Iowa. 24 were let in when we went. It takes around 10 minutes to get in, see the show, and get out.

I was there last weekend & stayed offsite. We got to the parks at 9am but didn't do WWoHP until later in the day when the lines died down. It seems everyone heads there first. While they are in line over there, you can do everything you want to do with basically a 10 minute wait. Then later in the day head over to the WWoHP when everyone from there is heading to the rest of the park :thumbsup2
