Going to WDW on June 12th any advice on preparing?

I go to WDW the 12 th of June. I'm driving down from New Jersey the 10th and the 11th is for resting. It's going to be me, my mother, my son 13, my daughter 9, and other son 15. This is our first time going to WDW. And I don't want to be unprepared or left out on any tips then have to learn the hard way. I am most likely renting a mini van but not sure if I should get a Jeep Cherokee or a Ford Explorer to go down. We are bringing down food and luggage and want to be comfortable, I down want to hear my kids fighting for 16 hours . Is there any thing I should do research on or look into? Should I buy anything or stock up on anything?

We will be there the same time! We are staying at POR June10-17. One thing I recommend if you have the xtra $$ is a portable TV/dvd. It saved us on our trip to FLA last year. I believe the Explorer may have a little more space but if you want the most space go with the mini van. Have a safe trip!

Thanx, my younger son kept bugging me about the tv/dvd I don't think they rent cars with them but I'll keep an eye out on some that are on sale or pick one up at Walmart. Thanx for the info.
