My kids have never been to US/IOA before, we are going on Saturday. We only have one day for both parks but will have FOTL as we are staying at the Royal Pacific.

My kids are whimps and won't go on many rides unless they are childrens rides. So my question is which park should we start at? I have a list of which rides and attractions we want to do and especially with FOTL we should get it all done in one day. Any must not misses???

Anyone done FOTL recently? Is it still a walk on? Really worth it?

If your kids and you are unlikely to be seeking big thrills then I would say Universal. Not sure how busy it will be on Saturday but, if you have time when you finish at Universal, try to get over to IOA just for Seuss Landing. I think you can upgrade to a 1 day 2 park ticket for about $10. Seuss Landing is great for the kids but, from what you say in your original post, it's probably the only part of IOA that they would get any enjoyment out of.

That's what I figured but wanted to get other opinions. The only thing we'll be doing at IOA is Seuss Landing which I would assume won't take that long. We'll have from 9am to 9pm....

We can't upgrade because we are going on the coupon pass that we got in the mail and we can't go again the next day anyway because we need to get home for my son's birthday party/Fathers Day.

Hmmm, that's a toughie. I would definitely say Universal then. Other than Seuss Landing, I can thin of probably only a couple of attractions at IOA which would be good for your kids. One is Spiderman, which may be too intense, and the other is the Pteranadon Flyers, which you cannot use FOTL for and is quite high up so if your kids aren't good with heights would probably be a no go anyway.

In which case, I would vote for you to spend your day at Universal. I suppose it really depends on whether you are looking for an all-round family experience or whether you're just owrried about pleasing the kids. For the all-round family thing then I would go with Universal.

I'm in Palm Beach County also and we'll be using our free pass to Universal/IOA on Sunday. I hope there is enough things for kids to do in both parks.
