Going to Universal's Halloween Horror Night while staying in Disney?

I am planning my October trip right now and we are staying in Disney @ Wilderness Lodge Villas, we are just 2 ppl, will use the Magical Express service to/ from the airport so we are not planning to have a car.

Is it still possible to attand one of those Horror Nights without spending too much? Anyone has any suggestions? Please help.

If you've never been to HHN, I have a couple tips for you, if possible attend on a thursday or sunday night. They are not very crowded, and the only nights where its possible to do all things without a express pass. BUT- I advise you if your travel dates include October 14th (a thursday) AVOID HHN this night. Every school in Florida has the 15th off, thus a prime night to attend these events because thursdays are much cheaper to attend for Florida residents.

Trust me on this one- we went to Busch Gardens Howl o Scream that night and it was JAM PACKED for a thursday. And I was informed that it was the same case in Orlando.

To answer your original question, the answer would be no it isn't. Of course "too much" is a relative term but tickets and taxi will set you back about $200. Adding express passes, any food or drink and souvenirs could easily double that. Look around for discounts and promotions starting now. The good news is you have plenty of time to figure out if it's worth it.
