I'm taking my son to Universal with a Flex pass. We are going to be in the area from about 3-24-11 to 4-3-11. We are not staying onsite so I would like some advice on a ticket addition. I plan to go to the Universal parks about 4 to 5 days total during this time. I've considered purchasing the Express Pass addon for 2 of these days, but I'm not sure it will be necessary if the crowd levels are low enough.

Also, the express pass reads that you can only get on each ride one time per day with the FOTL option. Is that really the case? If so, they almost don't seem worth it to me, but I could be wrong. I had looked at booking an onsite room for a day or two to take advantage of the Express option there, but again, I'm not sure if the cost warrants it during this time frame.

So, all of you Universal pros please give me some advice on what I might expect as far as crowd levels. Any help you could all give me would be appreciated.

Yes, the express passes are only good for one ride per ride, unless you are staying onsite...then it is unlimited.

You don't need to buy express passes in advance. If you think you want one after you see the crowds, they are available at many locations WITHIN the parks.

The best advice is to get to the parks about 1/2 hour before opening, so you get let it with the first crowds. You can get a lot done in those first couple of hours. Ride the big rides right away and save the fast loaders and smaller rides until later.

It is really hard to predict crowds these days since the new Wizarding World has changed crowd levels so dramatically.
