I have heard so many great things about Beaches and Cream that I thought when we are in Epcot we might walk over to it for lunch. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get there walking and what the best route to take would be? :flower:
TIA

You will want to exit out of the International gateway in the World Showcase. It is over by the French Pavillion. From there it is a nice walk over to the BC, I would say 15 minutes at a normal pace.

You'll head out through the International Gateway (between France and the UK in World Showcase), and stay to your right. The Beach Club is the first resort on the right. From the turnstiles at International Gateway, I make it a 10 minute walk to B&C.

Enjoy!!

Dear wendy1974,
I'd allow at least 25 minutes if you are in the area of England or France in EPCOT. That might seem like a long time, but that would allow you a leisurely walk, not a dash. You would go out the International Gateway (EPCOT's back door, so to speak) and just walk straight until you come to the Beach Club. Once there, anyone could direct you to Beaches and Cream. The burgers and fries are WOW! and the desserts are yummmmmm... :cloud9:

I second the 10 minute estimate, 15 if you stroll.

All you have to do is go to the International Gateway, which is between France and England, go straight down the path along the canal. You can either catch a boat from the boat dock there and get off at the Beach Club/Yacht Club (dock with lighthouse), or you can follow the path straight ahead and walk. Maybe 5 to 10 minutes. (when it splits don't take the path to the left, that's the Boardwalk)

First you get to the Beach Club, keep going until you get to the pool area, and head back toward the building. Beaches and Cream is between the two resorts. If you get to the entrance to the Yacht Club, you're too far.

It's a nice stroll. Stay to your right on the pathway--going left takes you to the Boardwalk. If it's hot, once you see the Beach Club buildings, enter through one of the doors and walk through the hallway, lobby and around Cape May Cafe, this will take you out to the Beaches and Cream area. Try to go off hours as it gets very busy.

We had this question, too, so we actually timed it when we were there last week. It took us 3 minutes to walk from the exit of Epcot to the edge of the Beach Club, with another couple of minutes to get to Beaches & Cream. It took 20 minutes to walk from the far edge of the Beach Club to MGM. We walked at a regular pace, not speed walking but also not site-seeing walking. There weren't crowds so we weren't hindered that way.

Thanks for all of the help. Beached and Cream wouldn't take priority seating by any chance? :confused3

They do not take priority seatings.
FYI there are a lot of good restaurants in that area (boardwalk). Go over to allearsnet.com and check out all the dining at the Boardwalk, Beach/Yacht clubs and Swan/Dolphin.
