Going to Polynesian on Package can I do this?

We are booked on the free dining package at the Polynesian 9/28 -10/4. I have just received all of my documents from DU.

I was wondering if when I get down to WDW can I go to guest relations at one of the parks and switch my MYW tickets to an annual pass? We are planning to take a trip next summer and I would save money by doing this.

I usually stay in Concierge but since they are closed we requested Samoa or Tolkeau. Does anyone have thoughts about these buildings? Where they a good choice?

yes, you can upgrade your pass. You will be charged the price difference between the value of the tickets you have and the cost of the ticket you want to buy.

We always stay concierge at the Poly too, but we stayed in Samoa last year in March when no CL rooms were available. It's a good location, right next to Hawaii, but boy, was it hard having to see our favorite longhouse right next to us! Have never stayed in Tokelau.

What you are asking is exactly what my wife and I have done in the past. We will probably be doing the same thing you're wanting to do on our next trip to WDW in early Dec.. Here is some good advice!!!! Before you use your tickets and I cannot stress enough the word BEFORE, you should ask the cast member checking you in as to what you are wanting to do as far as upgrading your tickets and do it then before using any days of your tickets. The story would be too long but we made the mistake of using days and then trying to upgrade and believe me for some reason it was a nightmare. Good Luck, Chip.
